The Flux Cycle Series was designed with the idea that objects, and even the materials used in them, carry a certain mood. For the covers of the notebooks in this series, we used papers made from various materials that could serve as alternatives to wood in paper production, including byproducts from beer production, ground olive pits, cocoa and almond shells, and grass clippings. This was done with the intention of creating a tactile space for connecting with the mood of the materials, while also sparking thoughts about alternative materials. We believe the fun is just beginning!
The cover of this notebook contains, just like beer, malt, yeast, hops, and plenty of hope. The paper is made from the grains leftover from beer production.
Inside pages are made of 70 gsm Sora Press Cream paper, produced at the Goricane factory, with FSC and PEFC certifications. The smooth texture of the paper allows your pen to glide effortlessly and offers a unique writing experience. The blank inner pages give you freedom of use, while the reference page that comes with the notebook ensures that you can maintain the organization you need when required.
Its thread-stitched flexible binding makes it a great companion for your daily life. The sewn spine allows the notebook to open flat, keeping the page open in a stable form as you write.
